The Kate Libby Endowment for the Arts, whose mission is to provide financial support for the arts in Maine with special focus on the children of Maine, is championed by Art For Everyday, the Kennebunkport based publisher of Kate Libby Calendars. The Endowment's focus is to help small, grassroots or neighborhood school based organizations support and nurture hands-on experiences through the arts. The Endowment is supported in part through purchases of Kate Libby's Calendar and online donations made possible at www.artforeverydayonline.com.

Kate Libby was a Maine native and well loved artist. Her captivating paintings portray the life and landscape of Maine in vivid color. Though Kate Libby passed away in 2005, her work lives on in the popular Poster calendar published yearly by Art For Everyday, and most especially in her artistic legacy and strong connection to the state of Maine.
